According to Wren & Martin, catch, teach ,think etc. are irregular verbs? But they are weak verbs. Whose answer is right?
Regular verbs and weak verbs are very similar in that they both follow a predictable pattern when forming the past tense and past participle. Regular verbs add “-ed” to the base form of the verb to form the past tense and past participle, while weak verbs add “-d,” “-ed,” or “-t” to the base form of the verb to form the past tense and past participle.
